Sunday Girls

Spent the morning relaxing with the girls before we made our traditional trip to see the Xmas light switch on and fireworks over Oldham Parish Church.

It was great - cold and loud but we wrapped up warm and watched the amazing show. The girls loved the confetti and seeing Santa arriving on the open top bus! Me and Jeanne began to feel Christmassy at last. Eve of course has been feeling it since ohhhhhh June?

After the fireworks had fizzled out and the confetti had blown away we headed through the town and I got the girls some light up spinny things. Blip!

Long bus ride back in the dark but we didn't mind, Coke, crisps and SITTING UPSTAIRS helped pass the time.
