I contacted J during the week about catching up this weekend but she had wanted to ring me about taking me out for my birthday. So we met up in our quiz pub in Wimbledon village and then went to a restaurant across the road. We had a lovely meal but were too full up for a dessert. We then went back to the pub for a nightcap. A lovely evening.

This was my starter. Harrisa covered halloumi with courgette fritter and crushed avocado with chilli. I had duck confit for my main.
