What a difference the sun makes...

...and it wasn't around to make that difference today! It's felt a whole load cooler without the earth's natural hot water bottle known as the sun providing a warming hug. Still, I enjoyed a rural walk looking at the trees as they turn from green to orange, yellow, red and brown. I spotted these beech nuts between the cobbles which are the road surface of several routes around me.

I have just enjoyed a long soak in a beautifully bubbly bath and I'm looking forward to watching the Strictly results and the new series, Cry, in the slot occupied by Bodyguard until last week. Candles to be lit...naturally!! :-)
