A sad day

I've lost my ball :-(

OK, it was my own fault for dropping it down a steep hill into thick undergrowth on this morning's walk, but I do miss it. 

This afternoon, there was no ball for me to retrieve but fortunately there was some sliced sausage on hand from this young person.
