String quartet

Our tower captain is in Australia so it felt to me to call the changes this morning. The following church service was less dull than usual as the Fenland Voices choir had been invited to sing accompanied by a string quartet from Holland. I did not notice that the service was three quarters of an hour longer than usual as the singing was beautiful and the quartet very talented. Refreshments were served afterwards and I realised when in conversation that I had a slight connection with the second violinist from the Hague.
