The old lavoir at Ruettes Brayes

My 13th and last walk on the Autumn Walking Festival this morning and it was really interesting. Called Health and Wealth, we started at the hospital and did a couple of big loops totaling about 5 or so miles.
The itinerary was “A tour of the environs of the Princess Elizabeth Hospital; with stories of our dairy industry, holy stones, fiefs, mills, millionaires, and the dark days of the occupation”.
Now meeting my brother fir coffee and later will ring a quarter peal at the Town Church then I may be able to put my feet up with a bowl of veggie casserole and a glass of wine!
