1436. New Lampshades!

After yesterday’s full on removals fun we’re both jiggered today so taking a nice wee rest....lie in and then a trip to a lovely lighting store to buy some new shades for our hallway....the ones we had were beautiful but they were far too low and taller people than us kept hitting their heads on them! We’re both short so we weren’t worried but our visitors hit their heads every time!

So here’s our new shades....I preferred another one but they only had one of them in stock...so hubby got his preferred choice!

Had a call from my youngest son this morning and he’s been up with the larks and back to his old flat to completely clear his kitchen and all that’s left is two huge cupboards in his hall...(probably full of stuff he’s gong to throw away!) and a few bits in his lounge....plus his hoover which he needs to finally clean up....and then he’s all done! He worked very hard yesterday and he’s determined to finish it now so we’re pleased about that....it seems a bit silly cleaning his old flat because it’s going to be gutted but he’ll have to leave it as he found it in order to get his deposit back....so cleaned it will be!
