Vegas in a day
After a good night sleep in all our beds and all our TVs we went to get out ‘grab n go’ breakfast. It consisted of entirely pastries but you don’t get much in Vegas for free so we were not complaining!
We decided we would try and see as much as possible aided by the monorail tickets that some nice ladies drinking out of giant Eiffel towers have us randomly the night before.
So we got on the monorail to MGM Grand and started walking from there.
So we managed: MGM Grand (didn’t have nice toilets), New York, New York ( where we did the rollercoaster with the Virtual reality option - awesome), had a Guinness in an Irish pub, Planet Hollywood (nice toilets) and lunch at Gordon Ramsay Burger (additional photo for Gem), Paris, Flamingo and Caesar’s Palace. Back on the monorail up to the SLS and arrived at the Stratosphere.
It costs like $20 or similar to get to the viewing floor, but if you go to Lounge 107 (funnily enough on the 107th floor) you get the same views for free. As pictured, sunset over the strip. I had also planned to arrive at happy hour so we enjoyed 3 hours of half price drinks :) :)
An Uber back to the hotel and we changed to go back out in the casino. This time we were constantly being offered drinks so not sure what happened the night before! We still lost a load of money, blackjack was quite fun, roulette terrible. Anyway we didn’t exactly go to bed jubilant but that was Vegas done!!!
