Brief moments of sunshine

For the most part today was rainy and dull but then a sunbeam moved across Mount Peter and Mount Paul giving a little drama to the scene.

The sand and gravel in the foreground is the channel of the North Thompson River. At high water this area is covered by water but at this time of year the river shrinks to a narrow channel at the far side of the river bed.
