Not Only Still In Flower But With Buds...

An interesting ride out on China this morning... I took him to my friend Lucy’s to ride out from her house, after a right rigmarole we got him loaded onto the trailer (more training needed!). It was a lovely ride along the disused railway line until we were heading back and we met two ladies with dogs. As we had just passed and I was looking back to reply to them chatting to us, one of the dogs went for China’s back leg and unsurprisingly he jumped away and completely unseated me. I couldn’t stay on and as I slid off my air jacket went off with a loud bang...luckily for me China decided to stay put and not run off so I was able to get back on (once the air in my jacket deflated and we found a suitable bench to use to stand on) and after much apologies from the dog owner we carried on, unscathed but down the cost of a replacement air canister. I think after last weeks incident I am wondering if Lucy will be wanting to ride out with us ever again!

After a wander around the garden to see what is still in flower, I was surprised to see this potentilla not only still in flower but with buds looking ready to open in the evening sunshine. Yoga again this evening and a good relax, stretch and meditation was just what I needed after the mishaps of this morning.
