I think I found...

...a new friend at Studley Royal Deer Park, this afternoon.

Whilst a huge herd of deer was charging around, this handsome specimen stood alone under the trees. 

I approached slowly and quietly so as not to startle him. He simply watched every move and then, as I lined up the camera, walked slowly towards me. I got quite a few shots and then I slowly walked away from the poser, backwards so I could watch for sudden movements.
