A new duck pond??

We've had quite a lot of rain over the last few days and on the way to work this morning I noticed that one of the villages I pass through (Yelverton) now seems to have a new duck pond with a duck on it (or is it).

It's not really a duck pond but a bit of flooded land beside the church and a cheeky seagull is swimming around in it.
