The Crack of Doom

A small bluebottle in the clutches of a hairy crevice spider, the flattened jumping spider, that lives in a crack in one of my laundry poles. As with other jumping spiders this one has huge front eyes.

Judging by the pollen on the fly it had been doing a good job spreading it around.
