Digital Image Technician. That was my job title for the Pepsi commercial. They call us DITs and we are in charge of making sure all the footage coming down the digital pipeline is intact and accounted for. At the end of the day, no one is walking away with film stock anymore, they are gathering hard drives with digital clips and it is my task to make sure those hard drives get made, organized, and delivered to the right hands.
To my surprise, Andy Richter was on set, followed by Paul Scheer, and Andrew Daley. it was like watching an episode of Best Week Ever and Arrested Development at the same time.
