Marooned!

Floods returned to Somerset this morning, and although our village was not badly affected, many local roads were closed.
This road was flooded further along, and a policeman sat in his car, presumably waiting to advise drivers on alternative routes?
In the opposite direction, the road by the church was flooded for the second time in 10 days, and two policemen were busy slowing down the traffic and guiding them through the water.
As we haven't got a 4 wheel drive or a tractor, we decided to stay put!
