Red Oak in afternoon sunlight

For a brief period the oak tree got highlighted by the slanting afternoon sun. Otherwise it just looks a dull bronze brown. And with a little top cropping it looks round and jovial too.
Notice please: no snow or frost or rain. We have had no precipitation for a week. Cold with frost in the mornings but otherwise pleasant days. Though this coming Saturday has snow predicted. End of the shirtsleeve days...
