Day 1

Of T Touch training. Today we learnt about assessing dogs and how they are moving and how to influence there movement to help them even out and be more balanced. All this is done without restraints or touching of the dog. The exercise is hard to describe but basically it involves food on and around different textured and height objects so you can see how they move and interact with them to see subtle sensitivities. After seeing a couple of dogs go through the exercise we got to do it with our own dogs. Breagh was unsure what to do without my help. She did have a good look about and did free up. Sara Fisher was observing and said that she is immobile in part of her back and I explained about her having put it out earlier in the year. By putting the treats on higher objects she should begin mobilising it.

Anyway lots of interesting folk. Definitely peopled out for the day and also informationed out. A nice walk at Tilly Farm then back to the campsite. Think it will be dinner then bed. Think it will be cold in the tent tonight.
