The Terminator

....is the line between sun and shadow on the moon and during the quarter phase shows the greatest relief on the craters along it. This is why its my favourite time to capture photos of the moon. Amazingly this one is straight out of the camera with no tweaks so particularly pleased today.

Not much else going on in the lost world of midweek that springs to mind. It was an early start followed by a day at the machine and hardly noticed the storm raging outside which has stripped most of the leaves off the trees.
