Cityscape

A chilly but beautiful start to the day ..... clear blue sky and not a breath of wind.  By the early afternoon things were back to normal .... rather dull and flat cloud cover :-((

I was in town early for a spot of rota work in the church ... finished by 11 o'clock so I had time for a bit of a walk in the Garnethill area where there are always wonderful views over the city.

It was the first time I had been near the Glasgow Art School since the fire .... roads still closed, huge cranes in operation but what struck me most was the amount of scaffolding on the shell of the building. It must have taken weeks to assemble all the metal tubes.
