Lunch with the birds and bees

I'd read about this mural (or murial for those who remember Hilda Hogden) and I really wanted to find it at lunchtime today.

It turns out that it isn't far from work. I do forget how close I work to town proper. This wonderful mural featuring NZ native birds and plants is on the side of the new justice precinct opposite the Lichfield carpark. I love that the artist included bees too.

Today's gratitude: For art like this on the outside of buildings. Mum would have loved it.
