Zeke really likes Jessie’s cat, Chino. She’s so friendly, she might as well be a dog!

I had two conversations with Eve’s teacher and I hope she’ll never be given a silent playtime detention again (especially when she hadn’t actually done anything wrong). I hope that the teacher will avoid those kind of punishments for the other 6 and 7 year olds in her charge too.... but I’m not convinced. Time will tell. It was hard not to turn into a lawyer when discussing it with the teacher, but Antony’s presence during the second conversation helped me remain in Mum mode mostly! The main thing is that Miss H has apologised to Eve and she bounced out very happily after school.
