Jupiter and Moons (326/366)
I decided to try my hand at shooting Jupiter again. A bit of a rush (as usual), hence the quality isn't quite all there, but we have Jupiter, and the four Galilean moons, Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto. One of the moons appears to be in transit at the minute.
Photography note: EXIF isn't quite right for this shot. It was taken with the EF100-400 F/4.5-5.6L IS with the Canon 2x Extender II, as reported. But the little MC Teleplus 2x convertor doesn't report, so this was actually shot at 1600mm, plus the 1.3x crop factor of the 1d MkIII, making an effective focal length of 2,080mm. And some judicious cropping thereafter.
