Cows and Cranes

Visited the WWT  at Welney today hoping to see some of the 30 or so Cranes that have dropped into the reserve over the past week or so. Needed to use the telescope to see them clearly as they were about a quarter of  a mile across the fen. The cows grazing near the visitor centre on the beautiful sunny day made a pleasant sight as I had lunch and my trusty Sony DSC-HX90 with its fantastic zoom managed a reasonable shot of the Cranes behind them (see extra) - not very clear but good enough to see they are Cranes! 
A lovely relaxing hour or so  just about 8 miles from home.
