Castle of Mey Memorial Bench

A bench, made of Caithness Stone place in memory of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother at the Castle of Mey.

She bought the ruined castle in 1952 and over the following three years restored it for become her Scottish home. Without her vision, the Castle would now be a pile of rubble.
