...from the Beach Boys' classic Suf's Up album came to mind when watching the very calm procession advancing beside the Thames. There were strangely many policemen and -women around as well as about ten ambulances. Felt a bit overprotective.

I understood it was mostly about the high university fees, but there were odd expressions on Gaza, defence budgets etc as well.
