This tenement in Kelvinhaugh Street had some very stylish features in Victorian days. It was designed by the architect Alexander Kirkland who is well known for the design of the lovely St. Vincent crescent round the corner. I like the way the layers of paint have been stripped back to reveal what was hidden by subsequent generations.
