Probably not in its final resting place. This is a second home for the hens - possibly a holiday cottage, if you like. We recently acquired it from an ex-chicken keeper of our acquaintance who had obviously invested a great deal of time, love and effort in its construction and was keen to see it move on to a good home. We don’t really need it, as such, so for now it’s sat in the garage. It really is a thing of beauty though – a slightly Heath-Robinson vision of slats and wire and old lino.
