Has a Plan, was the grand title of this optimistic volume, published by Cape in 1931 with fine lino cuts by William Kermode. Like my grandfather he earned an MC in the First World War, and also like him worked in the Royal Observer Corps in the Second. Perhaps they met.

I think my accidental dropping of my camera on the kitchen floor has caused some axial damage - I'll have to do some more formal focus tests. Oh well.
