From ceilings to shuttlecocks, the season of darkness is proving tricky.

The wee badminton club that has evolved at work is bringing out a scary side in all of us. However, we have managed to trash only one feather shuttle a session for the past fortnight which we are hoping means we are getting better.

Mind you, one rally had so many 'clinks' of frames today that it sounded more like an Edinburgh tea shop.
