Going for Gulls!

I had time to kill today between jobs and as I was on my way to the new Cobham services on the M25, I passed a playground full of Gulls.

The weather was stormy but dry so thought I would practice my 'shooting birds' skills.

Trouble is, I was parked up, window down, and ready to shoot - right next to a kids playground!! I looked like a cross between a Private detective and a pervert!

Luckily, there were no kids about so thought I was safe!

This image was cropped and edited in camera so have lost some detail, but over all Im pretty happy with the 'blip'!

Does anyone have any idea if you loose more detail if you crop on your computer as opposed to cropping in camera or visa-versa?
