Spring Flower Show

Had a lovely walk along the track beside Lake Hawea (extra) and saw the volunteers keeping the weeds down. They have created some wonderful native planting.
After lunch we went to the local Presbyterian Church annual spring show. There were competitions (main photo...this flower got 2nd in its section) for flowers and photographs. The main attraction for us were the fabulous plants and seeds for sale.
Wanaka has such an active volunteer group, and hopefully these volunteers were rewarded for their efforts.
We will enjoy a lovely evening at home with our family.
