       I managed to start the day with a two three (I measured) mile walk with Kiki and Chloë. Then a practise of music practise with David, Bob, and Mary.

       My internet wanderings took me to the slums of Newcastle of the late seventies early eighties through the documentary photography of Tish Murtha. Which in turn lead me me to another photographer, Nick Hedges, commissioned by the charity Shelter in the sixties to document living conditions in the poorest districts of England and Scotland's industrial cities.
