Yesterday's miserable weather got worse over night and this morning, with lots of flooding across Somerset, so had to shelve plans for walking with my friend Roger as all roads into the village he lives in were impassable.

On the plus side, it meant we spent the morning giving the study a much needed tidy and, when the deluge stopped and we nipped out to the local supermarket, the flooded carpark solved the what-to-blip-in-wet weather problem.
