Dark Knight

Today I had 2 trips up to Carlisle, one this morning taking The Mate for a hospital appointment and one this afternoon with The Man and The B-I-L for our garden centre visits.

We did both garden centres to make use of both offers of coffee as this is the last Wednesday in the month to use them. I came across this Caryopteris "Dark Knight" at Dobbies, the one that allows photography! It's a plant I've never noticed before, probably because it's a bit spindly. However en masse the effect was pretty. I didn't get much opportunity for the shot as it was quite windy today and the tall plant was blowing all over the place.
