The morning after....

The winds of yesterday evening continued through the night and have been gusting big time all day. This was the beach blipped earlier this week when we went for the bus to Scala this morning. My extra shows a deserted beach there and the very rough sea.(if it uploads)

A good day though, before the clouds really came over. Lots of bracing walking but lovely sheltered spots for coffee and lunch.

Tonight we've made do with a cheese and tomato roll for dinner. Too dark and blustery to venture out. And we have our books.....☺ Gosh, life is exciting!

Our cruise booked for tomorrow, along the east coast of the island, has been cancelled. Probably best...
