Small Tortoiseshell

The Sedum in the garden has been in full flower for some days but there had been no sighting of the butterlies which normally frequent the flowers every day.  

However today they have appeared and hopefully there will be more visiting the garden.  I hope it is not a sign of the hot weather that has diminished the number of these beautiful butterflies.
