The Old Turnbridge
The theme this week for the WidWed challenge is old, and the Huddersfield Broad canal offers many photo opportunities; you can see a lot of industrial heritage along this particular canal but it has none of the charm of many of the others. The buildings in my shot and the old Tunbridge, which you can just about make out date from the 1840s and I think they tend to look better in mono than colour.
Yesterday evening there was a nice sunset, and we've had one or two nice mornings too, all that's needed is for me to get organised and get out there and try to get the shot. :-))
Thank you BobsBlips for hosting the WidWed challenge, and thank you for visiting my journal and for your comments. and stars they're very much appreciated.
