Stocking the freezer
Someone recently very kindly gave me a powerful juicer/mincer they were throwing out so I decided to try the mincing attachment today. I thawed a kilo of venison from the freezer and made a batch of cottage pies, one of which will be for dinner tonight. In the afternoon we went with C. and C. for a couple of hours walk to the farm shop for tea and cake. It seemed a shame not to take advantage of the sunshine and warm weather given it cannot last much longer.
