Apocalypse

The Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world on the 21st December- a month from now so I thought this would be a good time for an apocalyptic blip.

I have been intending to photograph this fallen tree in the Allanwater under the bridge in Bridge-of-Allan for some time.

I think it has an apocalyptic feel about it.

Also it provided me with an opportunity to experiment with some eye lenses for the first time. I have decided its time to get out of my cosy photographic - point and shoot- rut and do something a bit different. Stretch myself etc.
You know the kind of thing...
