A pause for a view

A trip to the dentist this morning - had to have an impression repeated as the first one hadn’t been good enough apparently. Yucky stuff they use!! A lovely warm breeze, so as I was passing St Ives Estate on the way back I parked up and went for a wander. I like this old tree stump in the foreground as it provides a haven for all sorts of plants and fungi, and I suspect wildlife at times. Extra is the view beyond the tree stump across to our village. I like the lines of the dead tree - hope they don’t cut it down. Thanks to Cailleach for hosting Wildwed.
