...and those who carry on. Memorial on the side of 10 Ladder fire station building, opposite the site of ground zero. Missed this the first time we were at ground zero, so came back for another wander today.

It's our last day today - we're flying out tonight at around 10pm local time, which means we've got to kill a few hours between checking out of the hotel and getting our taxi to the airport. I'm sure it won't be too bad - after dragging her all over NY taking pictures of random buildings and bridges etc, I think I'll go willingly and let the wife have a couple of hours at the shops. I really do spoil her, you know! :)
