For Allison

A difficult day for me (Annie). I had a working day over in the Cotswolds, leaving poor Chris unwell at home. Most of the day was spent in a management meeting, but we all broke off at 2pm for the funeral of one of our ex-colleagues.

It was a beautiful ceremony, remembering as happily as possible the awesome lady she was - taken too young. My abiding memory of Allison was of a super-efficient Scot, who got the work done, no messing,  while also making you double over in laughter.

Rest well, Allison - and enjoy those mountain tops. xxx
