Flying Irons

There is an exhibition in our local centre which uses old objects to make displays...faces out of shoe trees, kettles, gear wheels and wire for example.
This blip is of one such exhibit. It has half a dozen old irons with 'wings' suspended from a tripod of bamboo stakes. Whether it represents an old fashioned carousel, or is an encouragement to faster ironing or to lighter ironing I have no idea....any suggestions welcome!
