Red Admiral

Up early for a trip to the doctors for blood test and flu jab - another visit to the Infirmary next week to see how my numbers are holding up; and hear what plans my renal specialist has in store for me.

Jumped on the train into Edinburgh to pick my student library card at the Art College; quick hair cut then home. 

We didn't have any colourful butterflies in the garden during the summer - just the cabbage whites which are a menace - their caterpillars decimated our veg plot.  These guys are lovely however and have been about in large numbers since we came  back from Italy.
