St. Osyth boat

Woke up this morning to wet weather, most unusual for Essex!!!!

After breakfast, H and I went to Brightlingsea and had a walk. along beside the beach huts and the beach, and then after coffee through the town, back around the the boatyard areas and back to the car. After lunch we headed to St. Osyth, where my niece the lovely Lou and her boyfriend Ben, live on a boat which they are refurbishing. Had a guided tour, was amazed both at the work done, and at the amount of work they have to do, and hope that they can have it finished for Christmas. After a cuppa with them we headed home to Gt. Bentley, and hopefully a nice meal and a quiet evening.

It is lovely to be with my sister.
