Pentre Ifan

Holiday backblip 3

First things first - we visited Pentre Ifan, a neolithic burial chamber not far from Fishguard. Quite atmospheric on a drizzly morning.

Then down to St David's, a pleasant city with an impressive cathedral. (It's 31 years ago since I was last there, then very heavily pregnant with my daughter, Lucy!) After wandering round the town, and a pub lunch, MrM drove us around the coast road to Strumble Head, with its lighthouse, towering cliffs and wonderful sea views.

And back to the cottage to relax...
