Spotted Michael Palin, happily signing his new book (Brazil) in Canary Wharf at lunchtime. What a pleasant chap he is. There was a very long queue and yet he was happy and smiley, showing no sign of writer's cramp or suffering fools ungladly. He'll always be the most pleasant Python as far as I'm concerned.
