After the Rain....

We had a stormy night here in Marlborough with thunder and lightning and a good fall of rain. It was pretty wet underfoot along the river tracks early this morning. A local mountain biker was out with his dog... enjoying the crisp morning. Maisie and I were unable to cross the river via the Stepping Stones. There was enough rain overnight to raise the levels of the river. The wind has been cold all day with both sunshine and clouds.
