That's my excuse...

A polar blast , not even slightly as severe as they're getting down south, has been battering us all day and there is leaf litter etc all over the section as the wind has been blasting intermittently from the west, so after scooting through the housework this morning, I retreated to the stitching cave and have probably spent 4 hours or so stitching these wee half inch hexagons together today (see my wedding ring). Good progress and more than half way to completion of the required size.
