A man carrying a donkey.

This morning I went to Gouda by car and on the way I saw this statue. From a distance it looked like a girl and a donkey. But afterwards I felt so good and walked all the way to be close to the statue. It is a man carrying the donkey.
Probably there is a whole story behind this statue. I'm going to find out!

I found some information about the art piece. It is made by the Amsterdam artist Gijs Assman. It is a symbol of the inverted world.
